Generations Enrolling Preschoolers Now
Enrollment for preschoolers is now underway at Generations Intergenerational Day Care. The program accepts children ages 30 months to 5 years old. Multi-child discounts are available to people who enroll more than one preschooler.
The program, operated by Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens (AASC), is located at 216 College Ridge Road, Wardell Industrial Park, near Southwest Virginia Community College.
Generations’ nationally recognized HighReach Learning program prepares preschoolers for kindergarten using interactive lessons that are fun for the children. The hands-on nature of the program is balanced with child-initiated, teacher-facilitated activities. The low staff-to-child ratio ensures that each preschooler receives individual attention.
The program operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Complementary programs, such as the Generations afterschool program, offer additional supervision for children with working caregivers.
